Belgrade Airport — terminal overview
Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG) has two terminals: Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2). Most commercial flights — including all low-cost carriers — operate from Terminal 2.
Terminal 2 (T2) — main passenger terminal
T2 handles the vast majority of departures and arrivals at BEG:
- Wizz Air — T2
- Ryanair — T2
- Air Serbia — T2 (main hub)
- Lufthansa — T2
- Turkish Airlines — T2
- Aeroflot — T2
- Etihad — T2
- Qatar Airways — T2
- SWISS — T2
- Austrian Airlines — T2
Terminal 1 (T1) — limited operations
Terminal 1 mainly handles:
- Charter flights
- VIP and government flights
- Some special-schedule flights
If you're flying with a major commercial airline, you'll almost certainly be at T2.

Tips for low-cost carriers
- Wizz Air and Ryanair close check-in 40 minutes before departure — don't be late
- Online check-in is mandatory for both, or you pay €40-55 at the airport
- Carry-on rules: Wizz only allows a small bag (40×30×20 cm) free; Ryanair similar
- Security lines can take 20-40 min at peak hours — arrive 2h before departure minimum
