Belgrade Airport arrivals: where your driver actually waits

10 August 2026

Belgrade Airport's arrivals hall has two exit doors, and they open onto the same forecourt. Whichever one you walk through, you are in the same place — so the only thing that matters is agreeing which door with your driver before you land. The taxi rank is on that arrivals level; the city and tourist buses are one level up.

The layout, in the order you meet it

You land, you clear passport control, you collect your bag. On the way out of baggage reclaim you pass three e-kiosks that issue fixed-price taxi vouchers; a fourth stands in the arrivals hall itself (Belgrade Airport, read 10 Aug 2026). Then two doors, one forecourt.

That two-level split is the part people get wrong. Belgrade Airport moved the public transport stops up to the plateau level in June 2023 — so if someone tells you to "go outside and find the bus", you are looking on the wrong floor.

Novi Sad ↔ Belgrade Airport from €59 — fixed price, pay the driver, free cancellation up to 24h.

Where a pre-booked car can actually stop

This is the bit no guide explains, and it is the reason your driver may ask you to come up a level rather than meeting you at the arrivals door.

The airport's Kiss & Fly area runs along the road next to the terminal on the departures side. It is free for a stop of up to 5 minutes, and 100 RSD for each additional minute (Belgrade Airport price list, read 10 Aug 2026). There is no equivalent free stop on the arrivals kerb.

There is also a rule that binds anyone driving here regularly, printed on that same price list: the same vehicle may use the stopping area in the departures zone free of charge up to four times within a 24-hour period. Beyond that, the free minutes stop applying — which is why a busy transfer driver on their fifth run of the day may park properly instead.

If the wait will be longer than a few minutes, the nearest paid option is Car Park P1 — the closest to the terminal, 120 spaces, open 24/7, at 400 RSD per commenced hour (price list valid from 25 July 2024).

So: a five-minute-or-less pickup happens at the departures kerb, one level up from where you collected your bag. A longer one happens in P1, and someone is paying for it.

Agree the door before you fly

Two doors onto one forecourt sounds trivial until you are standing at one and your driver is at the other, both of you on the phone. It costs nothing to settle it in advance, and it is the single most useful message you can send before take-off.

With a pre-booked transfer from Belgrade Airport to Novi Sad the price is fixed at €59 for the whole car and the driver has your flight number, so a delayed landing moves the pickup rather than costing you a fare. The same holds for a transfer into Belgrade itself if the city, not Novi Sad, is where you are headed.

How you actually find your driver — no name sign

This is worth stating plainly, because it is the detail people get wrong about Belgrade arrivals.

Our drivers do not hold a name sign, and that is deliberate. The row of people holding placards at BEG is exactly where the unlicensed touts stand, and scanning a crowd for your own surname is a poor way to find a car you have already paid a fixed price for.

What happens instead, on every booking, with no extra charge:

  • Before you land you receive written meeting instructions — which door, which side of the forecourt.
  • You get your driver's direct phone number, and the driver has yours. No dispatcher in between.
  • Your flight is tracked, so a late landing moves the pickup instead of costing you the fare.
  • 60 minutes of waiting is included free from the moment the aircraft is on the ground.

If you would rather be met inside rather than at the kerb, the VIP meet & greet is an optional extra of €10 on arrivals: the driver comes into the arrivals hall and waits for you there. It is an add-on you choose, not something included in the fare — and even then, the way you recognise each other is the phone number you already have, not a placard.

What the airport does not tell you

The arrivals board on beg.aero publishes destination, gate, hours, airline and status — but no baggage belt. There is no published mapping from flight to belt, and therefore none from belt to exit door. Anyone who gives you one is guessing.

One naming quirk worth knowing if you go looking: the airport's own page calls the short-stop zone Kiss & Go in its browser title and Kiss & Fly everywhere else. Same place.

Where are you heading from the airport?

Fixed price, we track your flight and wait 60 minutes free. Pay the driver.

Frequently asked questions

How many exits does Belgrade Airport arrivals have?

Two. Both open onto the same forecourt, so it makes no difference which one you use — but agree with your driver which door you will come out of, because they are far enough apart to lose each other.

Will the driver hold a sign with my name at Belgrade Airport?

No — Rides.rs drivers do not hold name signs, deliberately: the row of placards at BEG is where the unlicensed touts stand. Instead you get written meeting instructions and your driver's direct phone number before you land, your flight is tracked, and 60 minutes of waiting is included free. If you want to be met inside the arrivals hall rather than at the kerb, VIP meet & greet is an optional €10 extra on arrivals.

Where is the taxi rank at Belgrade Airport?

On the arrivals level, outside the terminal. Before you get there you pass e-kiosks that issue a fixed-price voucher — three in baggage reclaim and one in the arrivals hall.

Where do the buses leave from at Belgrade Airport?

One level up from arrivals, on the plateau. The city and tourist bus stops were moved there in June 2023, so looking for them on the arrivals level will not work.

Can my driver park at arrivals to wait for me?

Not free of charge. The free short stop is the Kiss & Fly area on the departures side, up to 5 minutes, then 100 RSD per additional minute. For a longer wait the nearest car park is P1 at 400 RSD per commenced hour.

Why does my driver ask me to come up to departures?

Because that is where a car may stop free of charge for up to five minutes. Collect your bag on the arrivals level, take the lift or stairs one level up, and step outside at departures.

Which baggage belt will my flight use at BEG?

The airport does not publish belt assignments — its arrivals board shows destination, gate, time, airline and status only. Check the screens inside baggage reclaim when you get there.

Is it Kiss & Fly or Kiss & Go?

The same thing. Belgrade Airport's own page uses both names — Kiss & Go in the browser tab, Kiss & Fly in the text and on the price list.
